Accessibility statement

This page contains information about the accessibility of this website / web application in accordance with section 12a of the Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz). This page also provides points of contact to which you can report accessibility barriers.

The Procurement Office of the Federal Ministry of the Interior (Beschaffungsamt des Procurement Office) strives to ensure the accessibility of the website www.e-rechnung-bund.de. The relevant legal basis comprises the current versions of the Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities, the Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (Barrierefreie Informationstechnik-Verordnung) and the harmonised European norm EN 301 549.

Level of compliance with requirements

The website www.e-rechnung-bund.de has undergone internal BITV 2.0 testing. These internal tests have determined that the website is partially accessible. We are currently working to further improve accessibility.  

In October 2025, the website will undergo an official BITV 2.0 test by an external testing agency. Once this external test has been completed and confirmed by the testers, this statement will be updated and supplemented accordingly.

Arbitration

In accordance with section 16 of the Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities, an Arbitration Service has been set up within the office of the Federal Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Persons with Disabilities. The task of the Arbitration Service is to provide support for out-of-court dispute resolution in cases of conflicts between persons with disabilities and the federal authorities.

If you are not satisfied with the response from the contact referred to above, you can turn to the Arbitration Service for assistance. This is not a matter of determining a winner or a loser. Rather, the aim is, with the help of the Arbitration Service, to jointly find an out-of-court solution to a problem. The arbitration procedure is free of charge. You do not have to involve a lawyer as legal counsel either. Full information about arbitration proceedings is available on the website of the Arbitration Service. There you can read about how the arbitration process works and how you can apply for arbitration.
